Rates, payments and cancellation policy 

 

 

 

 

RATES

 

The rates for 60-minute private lessons in Scotland and Northern England apply to both individuals and couples (same price per lesson, regardless of whether one or two people attend)


Single lessons:

  • Single lesson at the teacher’s home (Paisley):  60£
  • Single lesson at the student’s home:  65£ + additional travel expenses (details below) 
  • Single lesson in a rented studio:  65£ + studio rental  (details below)
  • Single lesson at the organiser’s home (Dundee, Aberdeen, Newcastle): 65£

Discounted Packages:

  • Package of 4 lessons at the teacher’s home (Paisley):  220£ 
  • Package of 4 lessons at the student’s home:  240£ + additional travel expenses  (details below)
  • Package of 4 lessons in a rented studio:  240£ + studio rental (details below)
  • Package of 4 lessons at the organiser’s home (Dundee, Aberdeen, Newcastle): 240£


ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS:

  • Payment for lessons and packages must be made in advance.
  • If a lesson is held at the student’s home and entails considerable additional travel expenses, these may be added to the listed prices, subject to prior agreement. 
  • For lessons in a rented studio the student is responsible for booking and covering the rental cost separately. 
  • In some cases, the teacher may request modifications to the date and time of a scheduled lesson, if deemed absolutely necessary.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Cancellations made up to 24 hours before the lesson: No charge.
  • Cancellations made between 24 and 4 hours before the lesson: 50% of the lesson fee will be charged.
  • Cancellations made less than 4 hours before the lesson: The full lesson fee will be charged.

ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS:

  • These policies do not apply in cases of demonstrable force majeure. However, in all circumstances, including those involving force majeure, any costs associated with reserving a studio or travel expenses (if applicable) must be covered by the student.
  • If a student cancels one or more lessons from a package, the remaining lessons will be charged at the standard single-lesson rate.
  • If the teacher cancels a lesson for any reason, the student will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund on the same day.
